Team Project Rename support for Local Workspaces: Team Project Rename is a new feature added in Team Foundation Server 2015. For Visual Studio 2012.5, we've included the ability to update local workspaces after a team project is renamed. Performing a get or check-in automatically corrects the workspace mapping so that it uses the new team project name.Learn more about how to rename a team project.

Note This section applies only to the Visual Studio client. TFS has different system requirements (check the Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2012 with Update 2 and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server Express 2012 with Update 2 download pages for more information), and may require up to two restarts, depending on the state of the computer when you install the update.
The .NET Development team has clearly taken notice and with the release of Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 have made it incredibly easy to integrate Git (and GitHub) into Visual Studio to allow you to easily commit, push, pull and all the other verbs that you can think of without ever leaving the comfort of Visual Studio.
Visual Studio .NET 2003 shipped in five editions: Academic, Standard, Professional, Enterprise Developer, and Enterprise Architect. The Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Architect edition includes an implementation of Microsoft Visio 2002's modeling technologies, including tools for creating Unified Modeling Language-based visual representations of an application's architecture, and an object-role modeling (ORM) and logical database-modeling solution. "Enterprise Templates" were also introduced, to help larger development teams standardize coding styles and enforce policies around component usage and property settings.

For Storyboards, users with VS Ultimate, VS Premium, and VS Test Professional can use the PowerPoint add-in to create the storyboards. Others with PowerPoint, can view and edit the Storyboards. The Feedback Client Tool can be downloaded and used by any user. This does not require a TFS CAL or MSDN Subscription. All of the licensing details can be found in the Visual Studio 2012 and MSDN Licensing White Paper. If you have questions, I recommend contacting your Microsoft representative for the most accurate answer. Download Feedback Client for Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2012
Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 RC is now available for public download. There are plenty of new enhancements in this release of Visual Studio IDE. I already started explaining them in my blog for developers to improve their productivity using this new IDE.
Unsupported versions of the AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio are available for Visual Studio 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015. To download an unsupported version, navigate to the AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio landing page and choose the version you want from the list of download links.
Your team can move projects targeting .NET 2.0 through .NET 4.0 between these two versions of Visual Studio as well as Silverlight 4 and Silverlight 5 projects. Some older projects such as ASP.NET MVC 2, MSI Setup, and Windows Mobile projects are not supported in the 2012 version and others such as F# and Lightswitch still have a one-way upgrade path.
One of the things I appreciate most about Visual Studio 2012 is that the code editing experience across all languages has been improved. Every language now enjoys first class editor support. As expected, that includes C# and Visual Basic but the Visual Studio team has also greatly improved the editing experience for HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Starting from SSIS 2012 Microsoft has provided separate Installer which you download freely without going through SQL Server Setup. Consider SSDT BI as Addons for Visual studio which gives you additional project types (e.g. SSIS Project, SSRS Report Projects, SSAS Cube projects).
Finally, some extensions (like C#) download secondary dependencies from download.microsoft.com or download.visualstudio.microsoft.com. Others (like Visual Studio Live Share) may have additional connectivity requirements. Consult the extension's documentation for details if you run into trouble.
The update is available now as a free download for all versions of Visual Studio 2012, via a web installer. A helpful blog post from Microsoft's Rob Caron also explains how to create a standalone installer for updating systems offline. 2ff7e9595c
